Our mission is “to facilitate the planting of Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, Mission-focused Chinese Alliance churches across Canada and the Diaspora.” Thanks be to God that we have more than 400 Chinese Alliance pastors in Canada. They faithfully serve God among local churches and work along with CCACA to foster this mission.
Pastors are the servants of God and they are called to care for our congregations. They are our important resources and assets, and their contributions are greatly affirmed and recognized. However, we also have a sense that, along their ministry paths, they have been taking a lot of pressures and challenges, which are unable to be vented out, consequently cumulated to a point of “being stuck”. As CCACA exists to uphold one of our core values “Caring and Support pastors in their ministries”, we therefore establish a pastoral care ministry.
This ministry is led by Rev. Wilson Chan. He started pastoring in1982, and he continued to further his theological studies, psychology and counselling trainings to enhance his ministries. To establish this ministry in CCACA, he will line up with pastors who are trained in counselling and experienced in spiritual formation. The purpose is to work collaboratively to offer counselling and spiritual direction for our pastors, through online or in-person, group or individual interventions.
As we aim to offer caring ministry for pastors across the country, we totally count on His financial provisions, but we also need your supports, through prayers and offerings.
