In this age marked by conflict and spiritual darkness, God calls His Church not only to care for what is near, but also to respond to those who are far away and have yet to hear the name of Jesus. Today, in South Asia and the Middle East, more than 1.8 billion people have little to no opportunity to encounter the gospel. They live in spiritual barrenness, generation after generation, without hearing the good news of salvation.
The Jaffray Offering is a vital response of the Alliance Church in Canada to this urgent need. This year, the Jaffray Offering partners with local churches in the Majority World to enter least-reached regions, supporting local believers as they faithfully witness to Christ, make disciples, plant churches, and live out the hope of the gospel amid hardship and persecution.
This is not merely an overseas mission project; it is a shared response to the Great Commission by the people of God. As we journey together through prayer and giving, supporting churches serving on the frontlines, we become participants in God’s work allowing the love of Christ to cross cultures, languages, and borders, reaching those still living in darkness.
The Canadian Chinese Alliance Churches Association warmly invites all Chinese Alliance churches to take part in the Jaffray Offering, responding in faith to God’s heart for the nations. We believe that as our churches unite in willing and sacrificial giving, God will use our offerings to accomplish far more than we could ask or imagine so that many more lives may hear the gospel, encounter Christ, and enter into the hope of new life.
